There are times when an owner or tenant in a commercial setting may want an expert to provide ongoing maintenance services. This document should be used for the provision of maintenance services on an independent contractor basis such as (i) oversight and maintenance related to a computer network and hardware, (ii) maintenance of HVAC system or other mechanicals serving a building, or (iii) maintaining the parking lot or other infrastructure at the premises.
In addition to being a binding legal agreement, a maintenance agreement also serves as an important point of reference for both parties, eliminating potential confusion or misunderstandings. This agreement will allow you to clearly set out:
- Specific maintenance services to be provided
- Invoicing and payment terms
